i remember how much fun i had reading ‘old masters.’ i read most of it on my futon with the sun shining down on me because my window faced south and i lived in chicago.
that book made me laugh hard. and it made me pause to stare at things. and i couldn’t stop reading it.
i remember something about a woman sitting on the chair next to him and he was saved. bernhard used a good noun to describe that chair. it was in a museum. i can’t remember the word now. i’m ashamed.
